Mazda radiator is a standard component in the Mazda cooling system. Water mixed with coolant flows from the radiator into the engine, conducting heat away before flowing back into the radiator, where it is cooled down again with the antifreeze coolant. A thermostat installed between the Mazda engine and the radiator serves as buffer and controls this process via a series of valves. The thermostat serves as “watchdog” of engine bay temperature to keep the vehicle running within the optimum operating range.
